About StackVerdict
The opinionated answer to "what's the best AI tool for what I'm building?" for vibe coders and builders, whatever they're building. One clear verdict per job, dated and backed by evidence. Money never changes a ranking.
How we rank
Each ranking answers one job: build an app from a prompt, host it, take payments. The #1 pick is the tool we'd tell a friend to start with for that job today. Rankings are editorial opinions backed by the evidence linked on each tool page. They are not benchmarks.
- Job fit: how well it does this specific job for someone building with AI.
- Time to first result: how fast a builder gets something working and shipped.
- Output quality and control: quality of the result, and whether you can take it with you (export, Git, open standards).
- Price for value: free tier, entry price and how predictable the costs are.
- Momentum and reliability: release cadence, maturity and ecosystem.
Evidence rules
- Pricing comes from the vendor's own pricing page and is dated. If we can't confirm a price, we say check pricing instead of guessing.
- Release Radar items link to a primary source (vendor blog, changelog or release notes) and carry the release date.
- We don't invent facts, prices or dates.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links may become affiliate links in the future. If so, they will be labeled, and affiliate relationships never change a ranking. As of 2026-10-22, StackVerdict has no affiliate or sponsorship relationships. If a tool page ever carries an affiliate link, the button says "(affiliate)", a disclosure appears right under it, and the link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow". Sponsored placements are only ever in clearly labelled slots, never in rankings: see Sponsor StackVerdict.

FAQ
Are StackVerdict rankings paid?
No. Money never changes a ranking. If affiliate links are added later they will be clearly labeled, and they will not affect the order.
How often are rankings updated?
Each ranking and tool shows a "last checked" date. Pricing is re-checked against the vendor's own pricing page whenever we update.
Who runs StackVerdict?
StackVerdict is part of the LegendofLinc project. It is researched and maintained with help from AI agents, under editorial rules that require a source for every factual claim.
