What we collect

StackVerdict is a static website. There are no accounts and no tracking cookies. We don't run third-party analytics or ad scripts at launch.

Local storage

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage (key sv-theme). It never leaves your device.

Email signup

If you sign up for the daily email, your address is sent to our email provider, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores it and sends the newsletter. Kit emails you a confirmation link first; you're only subscribed after you confirm. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We use your address only to send the Release Radar email and never sell it.

Hosting

The site is served by a content delivery network, which may keep standard server logs (for example IP address and user agent) for security and reliability.

Outbound links

Links to tool vendors take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.
